Velour London (“we”) is a UK fragrance house based in London, United Kingdom. For anything relating to your data, email info@velourlondon.com.

Email address — when you join our list (footer, homepage, welcome offer or restock alerts), we store your email to send you the updates you asked for and to apply your welcome discount. Lawful basis: consent. Unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or by writing to us.

Order details — when you buy, your name, contact details, delivery address and order history are processed by Shopify, our commerce provider, to fulfil your order. Lawful basis: performance of a contract. Payment card details are handled entirely by Shopify Payments or PayPal — they never touch our servers.

Messages — if you contact us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to help you.

Essential storage— your shopping bag, your cookie choice, and whether you’ve seen our welcome offer are kept in your browser’s local storage. These are required for the site to work and are never used to track you.

Advertising (Meta Pixel)— only if you accept cookies via our banner, we load the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which sets cookies and shares page views and shopping events (viewing a fragrance, adding to bag, starting checkout) with Meta Platforms so we can measure our advertising and reach people likely to enjoy our fragrances. If you decline, the pixel never loads. When you place an order, Shopify may also share the purchase event with Meta for the same measurement purpose. Lawful basis: consent. You can clear your choice by deleting the site’s browser data.

Traffic counting — we keep a first-party, anonymous count of daily page views to understand how the site is doing. It involves no cookies and no personal data, and nothing is shared with third parties.

Shopify (commerce and payments), our delivery carriers (name and address, to deliver your order), PayPal where you choose it, and — only with your cookie consent — Meta Platforms, for advertising measurement as described above. We never sell your data.

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict our processing of it, and take your data elsewhere. Email info@velourlondon.com and we’ll respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
