The House of Velour
One founder. One bench. One signature.

From the founder
Velour started with a simple frustration.
Real oud was either locked behind designer glass at designer prices, or faked with synthetics and sold as the real thing. The scent I wanted to wear didn’t exist at a price that made sense — so I learned to make it.
Velour London is a founder-led house. There’s no conglomerate behind it — I source the oud, I blend every batch on one bench in London, I smell every bottle before it ships, and my name goes on every box. When you write to us, the person who answers is the person who made your bottle.
Nine scents. One signature. That’s the house.
— Mikey, Founder
The material
It starts with the oud.
Oud isn't an ingredient you buy off a shelf — it's resin from agarwood, formed over years, graded like anything precious and priced like it too. Most 'oud' fragrances on the market use a synthetic impression of it. We don't. We source pure oud from established distillers, pay what it costs, and build each scent around it rather than hiding it under sugar.
The method
Blended by hand, in batches with numbers.
Every bottle is blended, macerated and filled by hand in the UK. Small batches aren't a marketing line — they're the only way to keep pure oud consistent, because no two distillations smell identical. Every batch gets smelled before it ships. If it isn't right, it doesn't go out.
The promise
Priced like the middleman never existed.
No department-store markup, no distributor, no conglomerate. The bottle goes from the blending bench to your door, and the price reflects exactly that — real oud at what it honestly costs to make well.
